Convert images to PDF
Build a PDF from a mix of image formats. JPG, PNG and WebP can all go into the same document, one image per page, in whatever order you arrange them.

Converted in your browser. A copy of the file you select is also uploaded and stored, so it can be investigated if a problem or a report of misuse ever requires that — see our privacy page for how long it is kept.
Mixing formats in one document
JPG, PNG and WebP can all go into the same PDF, one image per page. JPGs are embedded exactly as they are. PNG and WebP are converted by your browser on the way in, because the PDF format itself has no native WebP support and a transparent PNG needs something to sit on before it can be a printed page.
Getting the order right
Files rarely arrive in the order you want them. Drag the thumbnails to rearrange, and remove anything you added by mistake, before building. What you see is the order the pages come out in.
Orientation
Portrait suits documents and most phone photos. Landscape suits screenshots, whiteboards and anything wider than it is tall. If your images are a mix, pick the orientation that fits most of them — the rest will still fit, just with more whitespace around them.
If you already have PDFs
This tool builds a PDF out of images. To join documents you already have, use merge PDF instead, which keeps the text in them searchable.
Questions
Which formats can I mix?
JPG, PNG and WebP, in any combination, in one document. JPGs are embedded unchanged. PNG and WebP are converted by your browser on the way in, because PDF itself has no native WebP support.
Is anything uploaded?
The PDF is built in the page you are reading. A copy of each image you add is also uploaded and stored, the same as any file sent to Scriptorium, so it can be investigated if a problem or a report of misuse ever requires that.
Turn what is said into text
Scriptorium's main job is transcription: bring a video or an audio file and get back text you can read, correct, search and export.
