If you have an account

Use the Feedback & support button in the app's sidebar, or in the menu on mobile. It goes straight to an administrator with the page you were on attached, which saves a round of "where were you when it happened?".

If you do not

You do not need an account to try transcription — drop a file on the homepage. If something went wrong while you were trying, or you have a question before signing up, that same feedback route opens once you create a free account, which takes a moment and costs nothing.

If you run your own instance

Scriptorium can be self-hosted, and each installation is independent. If you are using a server somebody else operates, they administer it, hold the accounts and receive the feedback for it — so they are who to ask first.

Before you write

A few things answer themselves faster than a reply would. The homepage lists what the product cannot do, the privacy page covers what happens to your files, and the blog covers formats, accuracy and workflows in more detail than a support reply usually can.
